In Conclusion

The N-260 Club Headquarters

We are all very proud of our achievement for having safely traversed nearly 3,200km through some of the more challenging roads in Spain and western/southern France over the last two weeks.

There were many highlights – like the road to Parador de Fuente near Potes, following the beautiful Cord Cantabrica, the stunning scenery around Uncastillo, the sensational roads in the Pyrenees, the arresting red rocks at Las Pe’nas de Riglos, the gorgeous lake at Puigcerda, John’s surprise visit to Sant Marti d’Empúries, the charming Cadaques on the beach, the Dali museum in Figueres, the exquisite Costa Brava, all of the roads between Carcassonne and Anduze, the Gorge du Tarn and of course Puy Mary.  And Tim and Sylvie’s very kind hospitality in Anduze was very much appreciated.

However there were two main highlights for me . . . first, the friendship and camaraderie that stems from undertaking such an adventure.  Thanks everyone for sharing such a wonderful ride and for your friendship and generosity.  Second, I am especially proud that we can now call ourselves official members of the N-260 Club having ridden the road from Jaca to the French border on the Costa Brava!
